Immuno-oncology

Harnessing the immune system to battle cancer

Immuno-oncology (IO) research is a rapidly evolving field that focuses on harnessing the body's immune system to fight cancer. IO aims to enhance or manipulate the immune system’s natural ability to recognise and destroy cancer cells. Through innovative approaches such as immune checkpoint inhibitors, cancer vaccines and adoptive cell therapies, IO research holds great promise for improving patient outcomes, offering more targeted, less toxic treatments and providing new hope for individuals with difficult-to-treat cancers.

In vivo immuno-oncology solutions

We provide a robust portfolio of well-characterised cell line-derived syngeneic immuno-oncology models. These models are available with the option for in-depth analysis of key immune cell subsets, allowing for correlation with tumor progression. We also offer humanised models as a platform for evaluating the efficacy of therapies in human-like systems.

  • Anti-tumor efficacy studies (including tolerability and exposure studies)
  • Pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) assessments
  • Humanised mouse models
  • Cytokine and immuno-profiling employing spectral flow cytometry (>28 parameters)
  • In vivo imaging (bioluminescence, µCT)
  • Single-cell RNA sequencing
  • Spatial profiling of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes
    • Single and multi-color fluorescent and chromogenic staining
    • In situ hybridisation (RNAscope®).
